Basic Information: In 2007, approved as a key research base for humanities and social sciences in the province. In 2015, approved as the “Xinghai Academic Team” at Harbin Engineering University. In 2017, approved as a key nurturing think tank in the province. In 2018, approved as a think tank by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Faculty: The team currently has 17 researchers, including 8 professors and 9 doctoral supervisors.

Academic Achievements:

l 3 national key projects and 10 other national projects

l Undertaking over 40 commissioned research tasks from national ministries, provincial committees, and governments

l 15 provincial and ministerial-level research awards, 221 high-level academic papers, and 9 academic publications

l Over 50 advisory reports and policy recommendations adopted and applied, including 6 times receiving instructions from provincial and ministerial-level leaders

Research Directions:

l Theory of regional innovation system and research on innovation-driven development policies

l Research on innovation management and technology management of regional innovation subjects

l Targeted research on innovation-driven development in underdeveloped areas

l Research on management of regional military-civilian scientific and technological collaboration
