On April 20, the Heilongjiang Provincial Finals of the 15th “Chia Tai Cup” National College Student Market Research and Analysis Competition concluded successfully. The event was hosted by the Heilongjiang Provincial Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Committee and organized by the School of Economics and Management at Harbin Engineering University. YANG Ximiao, Deputy Party Secretary of the School and Secretary General of the Heilongjiang Division, delivered the opening remarks. The event was chaired by WU Haoge, Secretary of the Youth League Committee.

Participating teams delivered presentations and participated in Q&A sessions, showcasing research characterized by robust data, innovative thinking, and clear logical structure. Judging criteria included originality, scientific rigor, practical value, and team dynamics, with evaluators providing constructive feedback to participants.
As a recognized competition under the “National Discipline Competitions for Regular Institutions of Higher Education,” the event attracted 6,171 students from 25 universities across the province. A total of 306 teams qualified for the provincial finals. The competition awarded 59 national third prizes and nominated 13 teams for advancement to the national finals.
The School has hosted the Heilongjiang division for four consecutive years, integrating competition-based learning into its curriculum. This initiative supports a dual-track approach to academic excellence and practical skill development, enhancing national-level academic outcomes and cultivating high-quality talent.
