From July 11 to 13, 2025, the Social Science Forum on “Intelligentization, Future Industries and Longjiang’s New-Quality Productive Forces” and the 2025 Annual Conference of the Heilongjiang Provincial Management Society were successfully held at Jiamusi University. The event was guided by the Heilongjiang Federation of Social Sciences, sponsored by the Heilongjiang Provincial Management Society, co-hosted by the School of Economics and Management of Jiamusi University and the School of Economics and Management of Harbin Engineering University (HEU), and co-organized by the Heilongjiang Provincial Regional Innovation-Driven Development Research Center.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor XU Jianzhong, Secretary-General of the Heilongjiang Provincial Management Society. Professor ZHONG Weidong, President of Jiamusi University, attended and delivered a speech. He extended a warm welcome to the experts and guests who had traveled from afar, expressing sincere gratitude for their care and support toward the development of the university’s economics and management disciplines. He emphasized that Jiamusi University would take this forum as an important opportunity to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with various sectors of society, integrate high-quality resources, gather wisdom and strength, actively explore effective paths for cultivating Longjiang’s new-quality productive forces, and contribute sustainable momentum to the comprehensive revitalization of the region.

Professor LI Bozhou, Chairman of the Heilongjiang Provincial Management Society, also addressed the conference. He reviewed the 22-year history of the society, fully affirmed the outstanding contributions made by Jiamusi University as an important member institution in promoting academic exchange and talent cultivation, and called on all participants to use this conference as a platform to deepen academic cooperation and explore the frontiers of management science.

The keynote sessions were chaired by Professor CHEN Heng (Vice Chairman of the Society, HEU), Professor WU Jianlong (Vice Chairman, Harbin University of Finance and Economics), Professor CHEN Wei (HEU), and Professor WANG Hongqi (Advisor, Harbin University of Science and Technology).

Eight distinguished scholars delivered keynote speeches, including Professor YU Bo (Harbin Institute of Technology), Professor ZHANG Lei (Northeastern University), Professor ZHANG Ping (Daqing Normal University), Professor OUYANG Linhan (Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics), Professor BAI Shizhen (Harbin University of Commerce), Professor CHEN Haitao (Jilin University), Professor LIU Luning (Harbin Institute of Technology), and Professor ZHU Jianxin (HEU).

On July 13, experts participated in parallel sub-forum discussions that featured lively and in-depth academic exchanges.

This annual conference brought together more than 200 experts and scholars from over 30 universities, research institutes, and enterprises across and beyond Heilongjiang Province. Participants shared insights, discussed innovation pathways for revitalizing Northeast China, and explored how new-quality productive forces can empower Chinese-style modernization—providing valuable intellectual support for the region’s sustainable development.
