To relieve work fatigue, improve physical health, and promote a healthy work-life balance, the School has carried out the “Healthy 20-Minute Work Break” activity in the square in front of Building 31 from 9:50 to 10:10 every working day since April 1.
During the activity, faculty and staff leave their offices to participate in exercise. Activities include the 9th set of radio calisthenics and brisk walking, allowing participants to choose based on preference. The exercise helps relieve fatigue caused by prolonged sitting and improves physical well-being.
“Move a little, relax a little, and be energetic all day.” is not only the slogan of the activity, but also the real experience of faculty and staff. The launch of the work break activity not only effectively relieves fatigue caused by long-term desk work and releases work pressure, but also enhances communication and exchanges between colleagues.
The activity has effectively reduced stress, enhanced communication among staff, and created a positive and healthy working atmosphere. It also supports better engagement in teaching, research, and administrative work, contributing to the School’s high-quality development during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period.
